◎简 介
茱蒂丝（贝蒂·戴维斯 Bette Davis 饰）是混迹在上流社交圈里的交际花，一次偶然中，她发现自己的脑袋里长了一个肿瘤，命不久矣。悲观而又倔强的茱蒂丝决定对自己所剩无多的人生放任自流，开始了夜夜笙歌的无度生活。 在一场派对上，茱蒂丝结识了脑科医生斯迪尔（乔治·布伦特 George Brent 饰），斯迪尔为茱蒂丝进行了脑科手术，成功的取出了肿瘤，与此同时，两人也坠入了情网之中。茱蒂丝和斯迪尔很快就携手步入了婚姻的殿堂，婚后的生活充满了幸福和快乐，直到有一天，茱蒂丝发现自己的肿瘤复发了。绝望之中，她恢复了从前放纵的生活，这令斯迪尔感到非常痛苦。
